Gratitude: What I Am Thankful For

These times are hard and do have impacts on people’s lives, but let’s take some time and talk about how grateful we are even when times are rough.

Friends

One thing I am thankful for is friends. During these times, some people cannot see their friends. It can be hard, but having friends in general is something that everyone should be happy to say. My friends are amazing and I know I would not be who I was today without them. They truly are amazing and I’m thankful for every one of them.

Family

My family is another thing I am incredibly grateful for. Not just my immediate family I see every day, but also some family members I don’t live with. All my cousins live in Oklahoma now, but when they lived in Arizona we all had a blast hanging out, going to movies and more.

Food and Drinks

I’m so thankful for the food on my plate and drinks every night. Many people do not have that and are not as lucky as us. It is a blessing that many of us have and often overlook. I’m especially thankful for the breakfast, lunch and dinner I get fed every day.

Health

I’m thankful for how healthy me and my family are. I know many people cannot say the same, and that is very upsetting. Being grateful for the health of my family is very important. If my family was sick it would be super upsetting, and I don’t think I would be able to cope with such a thing.

Housing

It’s important to be grateful for the not-so-little things as well, the roof over our head many people cannot say they have. I’m thankful for the house I live in and the areas inside of them.

Experiences

I’m grateful for the many experiences I’ve had, even if they were hard. I’m very thankful for the time I went to CandyTopia with my cousin. So many great memories were made there. I’m also grateful for the cruise I went on where I met my best friend. We made memories, got friendship necklaces, and spent loads of time in the ice cream bar.
