Grace Freed is a columnist for The Horizon Sun and has been in Journalism for two years. Freed is an eighth grader and joined Journalism last year to improve her writing skills. She now loves the class. Freed has been a part of many clubs at Horizon Honors since Kindergarten, including Art Club, Dance and Fitness Club, Melody Makers, Choir Council, Baking Club (foodies), and many more, shining a light on her school spirit. When out of school, Freed enjoys hanging out with friends, dancing, and spending time at home doing crafts and writing random stories. She enjoys playing with her pets: a Black Lab/Australian Shepard mix, a Cattle Dog, and two guinea pigs. Freed also enjoys watching the show “Criminal Minds.” She is beyond thrilled to be a part of the Journalism class of 2021-2022.
