Homemade Waffle Cones

Whether you are longing for a delicious cold treat or want a fun activity to do with friends, homemade waffle cones are a quick and tasty way to enjoy a cool treat!

  • 2 eggs 
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • ¼ t. salt
  • ½ c. sugar 
  • ⅔ c. flour 
  • ¼ c. milk or cream
  • A splash vanilla extract (optional)


  1. Preheat waffle maker as per its instructions.
  2. In a small bowl, sift flour and salt and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar for one minute or until they lighten in color. Add milk, butter, and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add in dry ingredients and whisk until combined.
  5.  Scoop about ¼ cup of batter onto waffle maker. Let cook until done (however you much).
  6.  Quickly form the waffle. You can do a traditional waffle cone or mix it up and make waffle tacos. Scoop in ice cream after completely cooled.
