Stray Kids is a K-pop boy band who is known for their team-work, powerful choreography, self-confidence, and chaotic personalities. The group consists of eight members: Bang Christopher Chan, Lee Minho, Seo Changbin, Hwang Hyunjin, Han Jisung, Lee Felix Yongbok, Kim Seungmin, and Yang Jeongin.
Stray Kids released an official trailer of their own movie on Jan. 7, 2026, on the Universal Pictures India account. Exactly a month later, the teaser began previewing in theaters.
The movie featured backstage access about the members and front row seats to their concert. Many of the members shared their feelings about how they felt about the present and the future. The movie was a concert recording shot in Los Angeles with group songs such as “Thunderous”, “District 9”,“Chk Chk Boom”, “God’s Menu”, “Walkin On Water”, “S-Class”,“Social Path (Feat. LiSa)”, “LALALALA”, “MIROH”, “Chk Chk Boom (Festival Ver.)” and so much more. They also performed duo songs, which included “Truman” by Han and Lee Felix, “Burnin’ Tires” by Seo and Yang, “ESCAPE” by Bang and Hwang, and “CINEMA” by Lee Minho and Kim.
Many online videos have shown fans all around the world screaming, jumping, and singing along to all of the songs. There have also been reports of Stray Kids themselves attending some of the movies.
I went with one of my friends to the movie. Here’s her reaction:
The Horizon Sun: How was your experience at the movie? Describe it.
Shaia Yardeni (Freshman): “It was very fun and enjoyable and it was sort of emotional especially when the members were talking about their hardships.”
The Sun: What was your experience with other Stays (Stray Kids fans)? Describe the experience.
SY (9): “The other Stays were so nice and silly and it was nice meeting other people with similar interests.”
The Sun: What was your favorite part of the movie?
SY (9): “My favorite part of the movie was when they played “Social Path” because it’s my favorite song!”
The Sun: What was your favorite part of the whole experience?
SY (9): “I loved being with my friends and I really liked feeling like I was really at a Stray Kids concert.”
The movie was truly phenomenal. The fans and staff were super kind and loving to everyone. If you are a Stay, I would definitely recommend this movie.
