Combine something old with something new to create something entirely beautiful. In this case, add stones to modern design to make a breath-taking art piece.

This project loves vegetables but perhaps for all the wrong reasons: not for their taste or health benefits but for their aesthetic appeal on posterboard.

Repeat this step on the opposite side. Line up the ruler between the two even points on each side and make marks at every increment. Repeat this with the rest of the points.

First, create a grid for your artwork by determining how far apart your shapes should be. Cut some shapes using the punch-out out of printer paper and test different distances. Make marks on the edge of your canvas at the increment you decided. You may have to add a little more distance to the bottom or top of the canvas to center it.

Begin cutting out shapes out of the paint chips and lining them up on the canvas. For this canvas, I organized from light to dark for top to bottom and from pink to orange for left to right.

Hot glue the shapes onto the canvas, but make sure to remove the excess hot glue strings. Erase any extra marks on the canvas.
