Creative Crochet Containers

These containers are the perfect way to confront the disorganization of your life. This container is easy to make and has an aesthetically appealing look that will make it the best piece on your desk.

Materials

  • Two different colored yarns
  • Crochet hook

Chain 4  and join together with a slip stitch.

Round 1: Using one yarn, Chain 1, single crochet 6 in the ring, and slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 2: Chain 1, and single crochet twice in each stitch. Slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 3: Chain 1. Single crochet once into the first stitch, and single crochet twice into the following stitch. Repeat this pattern. Slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 4: Chain 1, and single crochet once into the first two stitches. Single crochet twice into the following stitch. Repeat this pattern, and slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 5: Chain 1. Single crochet once into the first three stitches, and single crochet twice into the next stitch. Continue this pattern, and slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 6: Chain 1, and single crochet once into the first four stitches. Single crochet twice into the next stitch, and continue this pattern. Slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 7: Chain 1, and single crochet into the back loops of each stitch. Slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 8-13: Chain 1, and single crochet into each stitch. Slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 14: Chain 1, single crochet into each stitch, and finish off.

Round 15: Using the other colored yarn, slip stitch into where you finished off. Chain 1. Single crochet into each stitch, and slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 16-18: Chain 1, and single crochet into each stitch. Slip stitch into the chain 1.

Round 19: Chain 1, single crochet into each stitch, and finish off.

Weave in your ends.
