There are several different haunting Halloween treats. A special one is a Kitty Litter Cake. Although I wish I could say the cake looks better than its name sounds, it doesn’t, but it’s quite fun and easy to make and eat.

Ingredients:

  • One German chocolate cake mix
  • One white cake mix
  • One package of vanilla sandwich cookies
  • Two packages of instant vanilla pudding
  • Tootsie Rolls (a variety of small and large is recommended)
  • Green food coloring
  • A brand new litter box (or a large piece of tupperware)

Instructions:

  1. Bake the German chocolate cake and white cake seperately, and mix the vanilla pudding according to the package’s instructions.
  2. Crumble the vanilla sandwich cookies in small batches in a food processor. Add green food coloring to ¼ of the crumbled sandwich cookies. Set the cookies aside.
  3. Heat up a few tootsie rolls in the microwave on a plate for about 10 seconds. Mold them into rolls of all shapes and sizes. and set them aside as well.
  4. Once the cakes are done cooking and cooling, mix them together in a large bowl with a fork or a spatula until they are intermingled but not fully mixed. Add the vanilla pudding and continue mixing until completely blended.
  5. Once the cakes and pudding are combined, put them in the brand new litter box or tupperware.
  6. Then, add half of the green and regular sandwich cookies on top of the cake. After that, place the Tootsie rolls wherever you want. The rest of the cookies should then be put on top.

Serve it to your friends and enjoy their reactions as they’re grossed out by this delicious trick (or should I say treat?).
