What I Am Grateful For

Ainsley Olvey, Columnist

I am very grateful for my family and friends. A lot of people say they are grateful for family and they are but most people don’t realize how good their family really is until it’s gone. Family also includes friends and pets. During this time a lot has happened, yet my family hasn’t changed one bit. Just think about if we didn’t have family. No one to help you with your homework or to buy Christmas presents for you. Some people don’t have a family, so you should be grateful for yours. My family is very different from other families, in many ways. But so is yours.

My pets are Simon, my cat, and my two gerbils Cinnamon and Speedy. I love them very much. I love all the times me and my family baked together. And what makes my family different from other people is how they appreciate everything I can do and my talents. And from the very beginning, my family has always been there for me. From my younger sister to my younger brother, they all love me and what I can do.

I am very thankful for my family, for caring for me. We should all love our families and the care they give to us.
