Origami hearts are entertaining and cute! They can be used for cards, a valentines gift, and many more ideas. Though origami paper is normally preferred, I will use copy paper, as it is more available.

Materials:

  • 1 piece of copy paper
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Using one of the top corners of the page, bring it down and fold it onto the opposite side evenly, making a crease.
  2. Cut off the remaining paper at the bottom.
  3. Unfold the paper and position it like a square.
  4. Take the corner you didn’t originally fold, then fold it diagonally, making a cross.
  5. Unfold the paper and position it like a diamond.
  6. Fold the top edge to the middle, where the creases cross.
  7. Fold the bottom edge of the top of the page.
  8. Take the other half of the page and fold it upwards.
  9. Do the same on the other side.
  10. Turn the page over and fold down a small bit of the spikes on each side.
  11. Turn it over and you’re done!
