Melissa Sayadinejad is 13 years old and in eighth grade. This is her second year as a columnist. She has been attending Horizon Honors for nine years now. She has many hobbies, such as swimming, painting, reading, and writing. Sayadinejad also enjoys hanging out with her older sister, Nikki. You will often find Sayadinejad watching her favorite shows: “The Office'' and “Criminal Minds.” She is on the Lifetime Arizona Swim Team, and has been competing for almost six years.  Sayadinejad’s dream is to swim at a division 1 college, and her dream job is to become an environmental engineer. She also loves to travel, and has been to 21 countries so far.  She joined Journalism to improve her skills as a writer and expand her knowledge on the subject.
