The Horizon Sun has gotten a sneak peek into the last and best party of the year for middle schoolers, the water party hosted by the Horizon Honors Middle School (HHMS) Student Council (StuCo).

This water party has been planned to include not only games, but also snacks and prizes. The games incorporated are beach ball relay, water pour relay, water target practice, and more. The snacks confirmed to be served include juice, Gatorade, water, chips, cookies, and more, with prizes kept as a secret for now. 

HHMS students can prepare for this party by bringing their lanyards, $10 for admission, and fitting the dress code. The dress code requires a t-shirt/coverup with a swim suit, accompanied by shoes (no bare feet). Students must make sure to arrive in the middle school courtyard from 4 p.m to 5:30 p.m on Friday, April 17, in order to participate in this delightful party. 

The Horizon Sun interviewed two members of the HHMS StuCo team on their thoughts and any other sneak peaks they can share regarding this exciting upcoming party. 

The Horizon Sun: What should middle school students expect when attending this party?

Gizelle Francisco: They should expect games, snacks, and lot’s of fun!

Anniston Miller: Definitely expect games, delicious snacks, fun decorations, and a great time!

The Sun: What excites you the most about this party?

GF: I’m mostly excited to play and help with the games and hangout with my friends while doing so (I’m also excited to eat the snacks).

AM: I’m really excited to just hang out with my friends (and still work).

The Sun: What’s your favorite thing about planning this party so far?

GF: I am mostly excited about planning the spirit days and fundraisers!

AM: Planning the games and finding decorations!

The Sun: Are there any other sneak peaks involving this event you can share?

GF: Be prepared to see lots of water!

AM: Take cover!
