Cookies are amazing. You can put anything in them. Brownies are chocolatey goodness. They’re always good; you can’t mess them up. Here’s how you can combine these two greats into one masterpiece of dessert, the brookie.

Ingredients:

  •  2 ¼ cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½  tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾  cup white sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • Brownie mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a second bowl, mix together white and brown sugar and butter. Add two eggs, one at a time, into the mixture whilst stirring. Add two teaspoons of vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually combine the bowls together while mixing, then add chocolate chips.
  5. Mix water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a bowl and stir until fully mixed. Add brownie mix and stir until well blended (measurements of ingredients may vary based on the brownie mix used).
  6. Add the brownie mixture to a pan up to around a quarter of the pan, then add the cookie dough another quarter of the way.
  7. Place batter in the oven for 45 minutes. Take it out and let sit for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
