Columnist Caroline Lilleoer is an exchange student from Denmark. She is a junior and came to the school in September. She is staying one year at Horizon Honors. The goal of this year is to understand American culture from the inside and get a good social as well as academic experience.

In her spare time she likes to play sports and has played handball on a very high level. At Horizon Honors,  she would like to play basketball and softball. Lilleoer has a twin sister who is living in Florida also for one year as an exchange student. She finds it hard to be separated from her family, but at the same time, it is a good opportunity to get to know a lot of new people.
