Maya Zappa, Columnist

Maya Zappa is a sophomore  at Horizon Honors. This is her second year as a columnist for The Horizon Sun.  She loves writing about the new, hot things in sports.  Zappa has been attending Horizon Honors for three years.  She loves to play club softball and hang out with friends when she’s not at school. She has been playing softball for nine years. Zappa enjoys watching the NFL and  her family is full of Broncos fans, as they are from Denver. Zappa loves listening to music anytime she can; her favorites are Lil Baby, Drake, and Lil Wayne.  She always watches tv shows in her free time “Jersey Shore” and “Gilmore Girls”.  She has one sibling named Jackson, who is a freshman at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University.  She has a dog named Jean, who is very lazy but loves to go on walks. Her favorite thing to do is relax and hang out with friends; however, she usually has no time because she’s frequently playing in a softball tournament.
